Who we are
We’re a movement of everyday people using golf to make an extraordinary impact — bringing clean water to communities across East Africa, one swing, one step, one hole at a time.
Our team of golfers will WALK 72+ holes in a single day — not for trophies or titles, or to play good golf, but to raise awareness and funds for clean water through WorldServe International. We believe golf can be more than a game — it can be a lifeline.
Clean water isn’t just a need — it’s a foundation for health, education, and generational transformation. That’s why we play. That’s why we give. That’s why The Golfathon exists.
We’re doing something hard — because entire villages are living without the most basic human need: clean water.
How It Started
The Golfathon began with a traditional charity golf tournament model in mind.
But for all the effort it takes to organize, the return often didn’t match the heart behind it.
So, we flipped the concept on its head.
Instead of planning a one-day tournament, we decided to do something radical — Walk 72+ holes in a single day, ask people to sponsor the effort, and raise meaningful funds for clean water projects through WorldServe International.
This isn’t just a fundraiser.
It’s a challenge.
It’s a platform.
It’s a movement to bring clean water to communities that need it most.
This is just the beginning.
